Sources revealed the secret of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's request to appoint an army officer in each village.
The sources indicated that Sisi aims to "monitor the businesses in the villages, through the officers, to put things into regular discipline, to obtain continuous reports on developments in the villages and to destroy the waste of money."
The sources pointed out that "Sisi wishes not to waste money on the ground after spending it on the villages, as sewage, gas, drinking water, communications and full services have been introduced inside the villages, and there is a desire not to deteriorate matters."
During a conference on Wednesday, the Egyptian president called on the armed forces to appoint an officer in each village to follow up on developments and achievements within the "Dignified Life" initiative to develop Egyptian villages.
Al-Sisi said: "I say to the army, is it possible for an officer to remain in every village responsible for it, and we will see what they will do, and Nassour and Hanuri for the whole world... Do not be upset, Doctor Mustafa... and we will see who will do a good thing, because the interest is one."
