TikTok has announced that users of the application will soon be able to document videos for a longer period of time and upload them through the application.
According to the information published on the TikTok affiliate pages on the Internet, users of the application will be able to document and upload videos on the application that are 3 minutes long, instead of 60 seconds, as is the case now.
"Over the next few weeks, we will provide all users around the world with the ability to create longer videos through the application, and we will give our users greater freedom to shoot, upload and edit videos, and the duration of videos created by users will be up to three minutes," said a message published by the TikTok affiliated sites.
TikTok had tested the 3-minute video creation feature with a specific number of users through the “Extended Format” experiment, and it seems that the feature was successful, so it was decided to roll it out to all users.
It should be noted that TikTok has recently added many new features to satisfy its users, including the Jumps feature that enables users to embed small apps in their videos.
