Adding contacts to WhatsApp is vital to enjoying the chatting app - and it's easy too, as it's an integral part of your enjoyment of the app, and fortunately, there are several ways to add contacts in WhatsApp.
How to add contacts in WhatsApp:
The first way to add a contact is directly via WhatsApp
Click on New Chat, then go to the top of the options, then add a new contact.
- You will then be able to enter the contact's name and phone number.
Once entered, press Save.
- Now this contact should automatically appear in your contact list.
If it doesn't, tap Chat, then Options, then Reload Contacts.
The second way to add a contact in WhatsApp is via your phone's address book
- Go to the Contacts app, and save a contact in your phone.
- When you return to WhatsApp, you should find the new contact automatically appear in your list.
- If not, you may need to quit and restart the app.
Alternatively, you can go to a new conversation, then Options, then choose Reload Contacts.
Adding contacts via your phone is probably the best way, as it saves the person's details via your phone and WhatsApp.
