10 Mouthwatering Tuna Fillings for Roasting

  • 1 fresh loaf of bread
  • Tuna in cans, 1 to 3

  • 1 lemon, squeezed

  • Mayonnaise or hummus, half a cup

  • a single avocado

  • Fresh garlic and olive oil (optional).

How to Get Ready:

It can be used as a filling for pastries. Cut the bread into tiny pieces, brush it with garlic, and drizzle it with olive oil if desired, then roast until light golden brown.
Spread a fresh avocado on a piece of bread with a pinch of coarse salt and lemon juice.
Top with sea salt-seasoned tuna bread. Place this on a dish right before serving, as avocados may turn brown if left out too long.
If you want a richer toast, combine mayonnaise (or hummus) with a little lemon zest and fresh lemon juice in a small bowl and spread on a slice of toast.
