If you've ever accidentally removed a notice before realising you needed it, Android 11 includes a function that will come in helpful. The notification history feature allows you to search for alerts from the previous 24 hours.

You must first enable the Android 11 notification log before you can use it.
- Tap Notifications in the Settings app.
- Select Advanced options from the drop-down menu.
- Select the notice date from the drop-down menu.
- When you initially arrive at this page, it should be empty except for the toggle button in the top right corner. Press the toggle button to enable notification history.

After you enable notification history, recent alerts will appear on this page, and you can view your notification history by following these instructions.
- Open the Settings app and select Notifications from the drop-down menu.
- Select Advanced options from the drop-down menu.
- Select the notice date from the drop-down menu.
All recent notifications (everything from the last 24 hours) should be visible, and you may engage with them by pressing on them, just as if they were in the phone's notification shade.
